Property specialists pledge support for Brain Tumour UK - 26/04/2012
Leading Midlands’ residential property specialists John Shepherd has pledged to support Brain Tumour UK for the next 12 months.
The decision follows the company’s long association with the Solihull-based Joseph Foote Trust which earlier this month (April) merged with Brain Tumour UK.
Andy Foote, founder of The Joseph Foote Trust and now a trustee of Brain Tumour UK said: “This is great news for the charity. John Shepherd is one of the most respected names in the property industry and I am confident their support will make a huge difference to our fundraising efforts.”
John Shepherd, who founded the company more than 20 years ago and now has offices in Hockley Heath, Solihull, Knowle, Balsall Common, Dickens Heath and Stratford upon Avon said: “We have been inspired by the work the charity is doing to help those in need and we are proud to partner this great cause throughout 2012.”
One of the first initiatives John Shepherd will support will be the Dorridge Fun Run on 17th June.
People wanting to take part in the fun run should visit http://www.dorridgefunrun.org/ or contact Brain Tumour UK on 0845 4500 386.
